ONE POST-OFFICE SQUARE

Status : Under Construction
Location : Boston, MA
Year : 2016-2022
Architect : Gensler - Co Deslgn Lead : Andrew Lyon, David, David & Maria Consultants : JLL; WB Engineers; Vidaris; Lerch Bates; LeMessurier

Project Role : Associate in charge / co design lead. In collaboration with Andrew, the building concept design. I produced most content illustrated below renderings (Rhinocerous with Vray) including image 1, diagrams & facade options. The project was taken on & executed by the Gensler, Boston office after my departure from the firm.

  • A look at aging building infrastructure in Boston, One Post Office Square is an existing pre-cast clad 34 story whose owner looked to identify flexible building upgrade strategies to garner true Class-A office space in the heart of the thriving metropolitan area. A recently re-signed tenant least on the upper floors (above transfer floor) required a flexible design approach that provided phasing & scope options able to accommodate the tenant staying in place during the envelope upgrades.

The tiered intervention approach identifies opportunity for both increased public & tenant experience on the ground, intermediate, and penthouse levels prioritizing impactful solutions with minimal building operations effect.
